Short History

Having started programming at an early age writing BASIC applications on an Apple IIe (featuring the new found ability to display both upper and lowercase characters!), I progressed through GCSEs, A-levels and Degree qualifications in computing encountering various other programming languages and technologies along the way and now have an extensive skill set with experience in many different techniques found on the web.

During and after my time studying Bsc(hons) Computer studies I worked for a growing web design company based in Cambridgeshire where i gained a large amount of experience working with linux based open source partners and the design, technical and project management of web projects.

My work over the last 5 years has involved creating LAMP (Linux, Apache, Mysql, PHP) based applications, administering web servers, maintaining web sites, project management and research / development in new and emerging web 2 technologies such as the Ruby on Rails framework and AJAX.
